Bath Aseptic Services Unit (ASU) continues to develop both our products and services as part of our continuous improvement process. We aim to lead the industry in product and service innovation. Some of our latest innovations are described below.
LATEST THINKING IN LABEL DESIGN
Bath ASU continually strives to improve our product quality and patient safety. As part of this process the company recently introduced some developments to our labels.
The company reviewed label formats during 2007 in the light of four drivers for change:
1. The emerging recommendations from the NPSA with regard to Injectable Medicines
2. Advice from the British Pharmacopoeia
3. Evidence of best practice emerging from the MHRA�s wider work on patient information
4. The momentum gathering within the NHS for the use of barcodes
As a result, Bath ASU has implemented a series of changes.
These changes will be introduced in two phase, the first of which is largely limited to the text (fonts, sizes, capitals, etc.) and warnings. Customers may not notice many of them as they are quite subtle. These changes can be viewed in the downloadable PDF by clicking the link below.
